Violence in video games? No. Violence in Scripture? Yes.
LOL? No really? After all of these religious wars, we need a fucking study to prove this?

The antisemitism people seemed to have forgotten
an·ti-Sem·i·tism
So, wouldn't the belief that Jews deserve eternal damnation be a sort of prejudice or hostility?
2 Thessalonians 1:6-9
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
1Paul, Silas[a] and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. 4Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.5All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power 10on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
11With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. 12We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.[b]

More submitter crap
http://www.submission.org/jews/Talmud.html
And I immediately thought, "oh shit, not Talmud misquoting again". But it gets worse (better?). Enter Michael Hoffman, noted Holocaust denier and antisemite. Yes, you (submitters) don't hate Jews, you just use bullshit from antisemites to further your case. Great job.
How about you guys invite Michael Hoffman to Submission? Or is Dawa a heretical Sunnat? He fits in perfectly with the child molester Rashad Khalifa.

Once again, it is proven that Jesus could not be the messiah. Note that I was not aware of that article, nor of that site, when I wrote my "religious arguments I don't accept". But Devarim 13 rocks. I'm thinking about printing it out and handing it out to the Christian club at my college. Maybe even the Muslims too, since they accept Jesus as the (Jewish) messiah too. But probably not the Submitters, since they don't have the mental capacity to comprehend such analyses.

Update on Allah girl
Talked to her on aim:
end.
Certain things: For those of you who don't know, she said I'm "not even a submitter". A "submitter" is a follower of Rashad Khalifa, founder of the "Submission" cult, back in the 70s. It is mostly found here in California among the Iranian exiles. Probably less than 10,000 followers. It's such a stupid belief that I don't want to waste time going over it here. Here are sites that I think explain it:
http://answering-islam.org/Religions/Numerics/index.html
Now, I find most of that site to be filled with crap, and pot calling the kettle black, but that's the most notable critique of Submission that I can find. And, there's also the matter where it's Muslims who offer their critiques as well. Here is another site (Osama Abdullah, crazy conspiracy theorist):
http://www.answering-christianity.com/rk_cult_exposed.htm
But hey, I don't care if he denies 9/11, he still kicks ass =). He was the one that first told me about how Rashad Khalifa admitted to molesting a little girl. That's of course the leading picture, which is a photocopy of a local Tuscon newspaper. But hey, he was just doing what other cult leaders in the late 70s were doing. Right? No big deal? He just touched a little girls breasts. But on the plus-side, he saved people from eternal damnation! -_-
According to the "official" biography of Rashad Khalifa found on submission.org, Rashad Khalifa was 43, married, and had two children at the time. Come on you sick freak! At least marry the little girls before having sex with them (y halo thar Aisha bint Abu Bakr).
Yea, I got off track. In any case, I blame the Jews. It's all their fault for starting Judaism, because had they not done that, both Christianity and Islam would never have happened. =)
Hell, if I'm going with this, I might as well blame Bush and Michael Moore too. Isn't Michael Moore a Christian? No wonder he's overweight. Same goes for Dr. Phil (Is he Christian?), Pat Robertson, and Bill O'Reilly. After all, Jesus and Paul basicly destroyed the dietary restrictions of the Old Testament. When was the last time you saw a fat Jew (Jews for Jesus doesn't count)?
I wonder which religion has the greatest perverts:followers ratio.
Oh by the way, fuck you Allah girl.
Religious arguments that I don't find convincing
Well, all of them. Hah! Well, here's a few select ones that are annoying:
"That's the OLD Testament": No duh? Just because God changed his laws (hey, isn't God supposed to be unchanging? Oh well) doesn't mean that suddenly all the God-endorsed rape and murder done by the Israelites on the native peoples of Palestine (Canaanites, etc.) is excused.
"Jesus performed miracles": It doesn't matter how many miracles (if any) Jesus fulfilled. What matters is outlined in Devarim 13. It's like that chapter was written in anticipation of Jesus. First verse:
1. Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it.
Did Jesus add or subtract from the (local) Sanhedrin's ruling? Yes, because he preached that he was God. He preached that the only way to heaven is through him. He changed the kosher laws. That's blasphemy. Devarim 6:4 clearly states:
4. Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is one.
There's only one God, and He is One. Rashi's commentary for the verse makes this a bit clearer:
A lot of people I debate with often proceed to bring up the Trinity at this point. One problem: Jesus and Paul invented the concept of the Trinity! The Trinity didn't exist before Christianity. Also, the Trinity contradicts Devarim 6:4 above. Wouldn't God have said: "The Lord is three" or something like that?
Ok, onto the next few verses (of Devarim 13)
So let's review:
Jesus arose among the Jews. Check.
Jesus gave signs and wonders. According to the New Testament, yes. (water to wine, walking on water, healing blind men, forgiving whores) Check.
Jesus said to worship other gods that the Jews had not known (namely, himself). Check.
Jesus was sentenced to death for this. Check.
So I'm wondering how Jesus should even be respected. Was he ignorant of the Torah? Did he not have a copy of Devarim 13? Did he not ever think to himself "Hmm, if I'm going to pretend to be the moshiach, I should at least try not to convince people I'm a god as it totally goes against Hebrew monotheism." And his being killed is nothing special. He broke a law, and then got punished for it. Just like the hundreds of other dissidents in the Roman empire at the time.
"Jesus died for our sins": Let's have a scenario. Imagine there is a murderer named Bob who has a friend Joe. Bob goes and murders George. Bob is caught and taken to trial. Bob is sentenced to 10 years in prison. But then Joe comes in and says "Hey, I'll do Bob's sentence for him. Leave him alone." Would it make sense for the judge to accept Joe's proposition? Should Bob get off scot-free while someone else, totally unrelated to the crime, voluntarily undergo Bob's prison sentence? I say no, because Joe doesn't have any desert (I'm using it in the sense of the "nouning" the word "deserve" (Yes, it is a real word)). Only the person who commits the crime deserves to be punished for it. Nobody else. And thankfully, it is illegal in most countries (if not all) of the world today. Think of the disastrous consequences if it was legalized. Someone could go murder people, and as soon as he's caught, he can pay some emo kid to take his place in prison! And this is why I don't buy the "Jesus died for our sins" catchphrase. If anything, Jesus can only die for his own sins. Everyone is for themselves. In Judaism, sin is not a state of being, it is an act. That's why the concept of being "born" a sinner, original sin, etc. are all Christian concepts which aren't found in Judaism.
I think that's enough for now. Tell me what you think.

At the mall
Today I went to the mall. One of the worst experiences of my life. I don't know, but if I go to a clothing store and I pick out a shirt to look at, I fold it and put it back. If you see something on the floor and it shouldn't be there (like a dress), pick it up and put it on a rack. Also, I don't drop f bombs when talking about what a shirt looks like (the store associate was a nice guy, and actually told her to watch her language. Congrats to him for expecting decency.) And if you make a big mess at your table on the food court, clean it up! Just ditching the table and having someone else clean up the crumbs that spilled from your face due to eating with your mouth full is not something people want to do.
I left without saying goodbye. And of course, I went through the proper procedure: "I'm sorry, my mom called, I had to go quick" "Oh, I hope you're not in trouble" What? Is that what you're worried about? Not about how I just lied to you because I was too embarrassed to tell you the truth in front of your friends? I don't get it. How much clearer do I have to make it? And that's all you said? No, you also said "Thanks for coming". Oh right, I'm sure you missed me sooooo much following you guys around like a stalker.
Yea, I'm talking to you, girl with "Allah" around your neck. I'm sure He approves of your low cut shirt. I'm sure He approves of letting guys touch you. And this is the same girl that said "religion is very important to me". Yes, it's so important that you totally ignore its rules.
Those who harass believing men and believing women unjustifiably shall bear the guilt of slander and a grievous sin. O Prophet! Enjoin your wives, your daughters, and the wives of true believers to draw their cloaks over them [when they go out]. That is more proper, so that they may be distinguished and not be harassed. God is ever forgiving and merciful. If the hypocrites and those who have the ailment [of jealousy] in their hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We will rouse you against them, and their days in that city will be numbered. Cursed be they; wherever found, they would be seized and put to death.
Quran 33:58-61
Of all the rules which have a death sentence, this is probably the only one with which I agree. Don't wear revealing clothes when you have "Allah" around your neck. Just because you see people with crosses around their neck in sexually suggestive pictures, doesn't mean that you can do it too.
Does anyone find this bizarre that I'm lecturing religious people about being modest? It explains the sad state of religion today. I, an atheist, have stronger morals and values than someone who proudly proclaims "I follow God! You evil immoral atheist!". I guess religion is just something that people do just to look cool. I mean think about it; what the heck is the point of all those necklaces anyways? So you can vainly shout out to the world: "Hey, I'm a follower of this religion, so I'm going to let you all now in a fashionable way" I got a better idea. If you want to show you're a Muslim, wear some hijab. If you're Christian, at least go by some of the recommendations of the apostle Paul (I respect the guy because of his stoicism. That takes guts).
Or maybe I'm expecting too much? I don't know anymore. Maybe if their parents knew that they were doing such things...
"Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your parents" is a good rule of thumb. Unless your parents are totally insane. And because they aren't raising you correctly (regarding religion), maybe they are a bit insane.
ugh... astaghfirullah!
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Asma bint Abu Bakr, entered upon the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of Allah turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to her face and hands. Sunnan Abu Dawud 32:4092
But what can I do? I'm not God. That would be nice though, unlike the current God who obviously doesn't know how to efficiently produce good, I would actually try to help out the things I created. I'll speak more of this when I get permission to post the email discussion.
But not everyone is bad. There is of course my bestest friend ever that came to the rescue. When I left, I sat in the car for a while thinking "Wow, what a waste of my life. I need to call her". And I did. And she answered! Finally, someone actually worth talking to. But as they say, a drop of honey brings more butterflies (yes, I know it's flies. But flies give a sort of negative denotation in comparison to butterflies) than a gallon of vinegar. And after having a taste of the vinegar, the drop of honey had a great job of removing that wretched aftertaste. But alas, it is just a drop of honey. In those 5 (10? 15? I lost track of time) minutes I spoke with her, someone else (miss "Allah" necklace girl) calls me and leaves me a message. It was actually kind of a blessing, because when I heard the beep saying "hey, there's someone on the other side of the line" I was like "oh, I got someone on the other line." "Oh, are you gonna call back?" "Nah, I just won't answer them." See? I got to show someone that I actually cared about them by making someone else seem not as important or compelling. I like to make people feel happy about themselves. I wish other people felt the same way, instead of thinking about themselves all the time. You'd think that with all the time these pseudo-religious folk spend NOT reading their holy book, they would actually take the time to learn some manners.
Namaste.
**UPDATE**
youth quran study at my house
starts at three, ends at five
come, and bring friends
That's what her away message says. For those of you not "in the know", a "quran study" is basically the Muslim equivalent of a Bible study. You know, where people circle jerk about how they loved a certain passage in their holy book. After a nice day of dating immature guys, I'm sure a conclusive Qur'an study will bring back your purity. Whore.
